Pipe & Cylinders
Design and Fabrication
Advanced Metals offers plate-to-pipe converting capabilities using Titanium, Titanium Alloys, Zirconium and Nickel Alloys - either your material or ours. All piping can be manufactured to meet the requirements in ASME Section II SB-558 for Zirconium, SB-622 for Nickel Alloys and SB-862 for Titanium Alloys. This can be performed in pipe sizes ranging from 3" through 16" with wall thicknesses of Sch. 5S through Sch. 80S.
This pipe can also be used for pipe spools, which Advanced Metals can fabricate to meet your dimensional requirements. We dispatch qualified field crews who weld the final seams in order to maintain required lengths and configurations. All weld seams are made using a semi-automatic plasma arc welding process, which can be performed with or without the addition of filler metal. As a minimum, all weld seams are visually inspected and liquid penetrant tested.
In addition to pipe and pipe spools, Advanced Metals can also supply rolled and welded cylinders with diameters up to 144" and thicknesses up to .625". These can be supplied to meet the ASME Code with Partial Data Stampings and Reports.
All standard NDE, annealing and hydrostatic testing is performed in-house. Any additional NDE testing will be performed upon request.
